Marguerite Stevens

Marguerite, age 96, passed away Monday, December 30, 2019 at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill. She was born April 2, 1923 in Oconomowoc to the late Rudolph & Leila (Rhadans) Lange.

Marguerite worked many years as a secretary for General Telephone.  She was a member of the Women’s Church Group at Our Saviours Lutheran Church.  Marguerite had a passion for sewing, especially making children’s clothes.  She will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her daughter: Carol (Steve) Christensen; son: Ken Maule; grandchildren: Erin (Keith) Perkins, Stephen Christensen, Ken (Mona) Reitz, Carson (Steph) Maule, Geneva Maule and Katie Maule; great-grandchildren: Dalton, Corinne and Renee Perkins, Anna, Josh and Joey Reitz; Sister: Carol Schultz, brother: Johnny (Maureen) Lange; and numerous nieces and nephews

She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Don Maule, second husband Fred Stevens, daughter Donna, son in law, Bob Reitz, and sisters, Nancy and Marian.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be scheduled in the spring to accommodate those traveling from the south.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Pine Crest Nursing Home, and specifically the Special Care Unit for their kind and excellent care of Marguerite, for the past 2 ½ years.
