Patti Porath

Patti Porath, age 61, passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, while surrounded by her loving family.  Patti was born on October 28, 1956 to Ronald and the late Phyllis (Kleinschmidt) Porath in Merrill.

Patti was a lead teller and worked for 20 years at U.S. Bank in Minocqua.  She also worked for several years at WalMart in Minocqua.  One of her greatest passions was photography and she took all types of pictures.  Patti had a love for country music and her favorite artist at this time was Keith Urban.  She enjoyed flowers and her yard was filled with her frogs of all kinds.  Patti liked to spend time on the boat and fishing.  She really liked to watch the Packers, Badgers, and the Brewers.  Patti enjoyed many nights in the backyard sitting around the fire pit and took time to play dice or cards with her favorite game being “Sh_ t on your neighbors”.  She will be dearly missed.

Patti is survived by her loving life-long partner: Tom Wilde, children: April (Dee) Degner, Chad Sabatke, all of Merrill, grandchildren: Alissa Zajackowski, Dylan Sabatke, Dru Sabatke, Callie Sabatke, Zach Degner great grandchildren: Easton, Lincoln, sister: Tracy (Todd) Miller, Schofield, WI, brother: Randy Porath, Merrill, WI, several nieces & nephews, many other relatives and friends.

Patti was preceded in death by mother: Phyllis, and her grandparents.

A funeral service to celebrate Patti’s life will be held 7:30 PM on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Waid Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Friday, October 5, 2018 at Waid Funeral Home from 5:30 until the time of service at the funeral home.  Burial will be private.
