Lisadawn Schram, 61, of the town of Pine River, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at the Ascension Good Samaritan Hospital in Merrill. She was born on March 30, 1960 to Ron and Bette (Saindon) Harriman in Pocatello, Idaho. Her father survives. Lisa attended and graduated from high school in Salt Lake City, Utah. She met her soul mate and best friend, Ken Schram, and the two exchanged marriage vows on March 21, 1998. He survives. She enjoyed working on computers and was employed as a computer technician when she was younger, as well as studying to be a classical pianist. Due to health issues, Lisa was unable to continue her work with computers, but she was able to continue and thrive in her mission of rescuing and saving as many animals, namely birds, as she could. Lisa collected caterpillars of Monarchs and raised them to full grown butterflies, tagged them and released them to help strengthen the population. She did a lot of volunteer work for the Raptor Education Group and helped with parrot rescue and advocacy. Lisa particularly liked to help with transporting and educating, whether it was eagles, parrots, hawks or owls, she loved them all!! Lisa is remembered as having a heart of gold, always being fearless and selfless, as well as having a giving and empathetic spirit. She was so intelligent and would use that in her everyday work with her animals. Lisa just loved being outdoors, enjoying time with friends and family on boat trips and playing with the granddaughters; she was the best grandma. She also had an interest in photography, and she, along with her husband, Ken, would enjoy doing photo shoots. Lisa spent a lot of time online, working with the rescue groups and would share her knowledge when someone needed help. She truly had a lot of talent and skills in so many areas. Lisa will be sadly missed but left an undeniable impact on everyone she met.
Lisa leaves behind her father: Ron Harriman, husband: Ken Schram, son: Tyson (fiancé Megan) Thornwall, daughter: Aneila Hynick, granddaughters: Jaidlyn, Marlee, Mae Mobley and Monet, half-brother: Shawn Harriman, half-sister: Mardie (Richard) Engelhardt, along with many good friends, her rescued animal friends and extended family.
