Leslie Radloff

Leslie "Lolly" Radloff, age 95, passed away on January 26, 2016 at Bell Tower Residence while under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice. He was born on March 27, 1920 to the late Robert and Hattie (Engel) Radloff in the town of Corning. Les married Grayce Mildred Erickson on June 25, 1945 in Merrill, WI. She preceded him in death on July 18, 2013. Les spent his working career as a back tender at the paper mill in Merrill. Les was an avid hunter, fisherman and trapper. He loved the outdoors and the joy that it brought him. Les and Grayce would enjoy taking a trip up to their cottage in Flambeau to go fishing together. Les was 1 of 11 Radloff children, lovingly known as "Hattie's Clan". He cared deeply for his family. Leslie is survived by his sister: Luann (Robert) Robins of Rhinelander and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Hattie Radloff, wife: Grayce Radloff, 9 siblings and their spouses: Norma (Fred) Le Clerc, Clarence (Justine) Radloff, Lawrence (Elaine) Radloff, Viola (Ray) Zich, Elmer (Ruth) Radloff, Verna (George) Griffin, Dorothy (Edward) Zastrow, Evelyn Winetzki, and Milton Radloff. A Remembrance Ceremony for Leslie will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 5:30pm at Waid Funeral Home in Merrill. Rev. Missy Holdorf will officiate. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 3:30pm and continue until the time of the ceremony, also at the funeral home.
