Barbara “Barb” Lynn Schuster, 76, was called to her heavenly home on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Aspirus Merrill Hospital. She was born August 15, 1945, in Milwaukee, to the late Roger Ringhand and Margaret Taylor. She married Duane Schwartz, he survives, and together they had four children: Jamie Schwartz, Laureen Podeweltz (Jim Streeter), Brian Schwartz, and Amy Jo David. After the two divorced, Barb met and married the love of her life, Donald Schuster, October 10, 1981. Don lovingly called her “Barbie”. His daughters, Tammy (Christopher) Williams, and Sherri (Terri) Agena, became part of her family too.
Barb was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family. She loved to cook and often contributed her famous potato salad at family events. Barb and Don enjoyed riding motorcycle throughout the Northwoods, vacationing in Hayward each summer, and visiting cousins in Mercer. She often spent time playing cards with her close friends Shirley Eggers, Joanne Haas, Terri Frisch and Marlene Benzinger. Barb will always be remembered for her spicy personality and love of laughter! It was loud, unique, and made everyone else laugh!
Barb is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Don Schuster, step-grandson Phillip Williams, and most recently, her daughter Amy Jo David.
She is survived by her loving children; grandchildren - Jennifer, Ian, Lauren, Chaz, Morgan, Jordan, Megan, and Courtney; great-grandchildren - Denali, Bentley, Harley, Hudson, Corbin, Jameson, Ellie, Greyson, Ryver and Charlie; siblings - Beverly (Rick) Henrichs, Tomahawk, Mark Allen and Joanne (Monty) Sczygelski, both of Merrill, and Scott Ringhand (Racine), along with many nieces and nephews and special friends Rick and Patty Granato.
