Arlene Wilke

Arlene J. Wilke, age 92, died peacefully at Pine Crest Nursing Home on May 22, 2019.  She was born February 19, 1927 to Robert & Bertha (Gutknecht) Tesch.  She married Stanley Wilke.  He preceded her in death.

Arlene spent her years as a farmer’s wife.  When she wasn’t helping with farm work, Arlene could be found tending to her garden or raising flowers.  Arlene also had a love of cooking.  Her favorite activity was doing the family genealogy.  She will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her children; Deborah (Walter) Leuenberger, Brian Wilke, all of Merrill, grandchildren; Seth (Aubrey) Wilke, Merrill, Caila (Rohit) Kapur, NY, Nicole Wilke, Merrill, 2 great grandchildren, Skylie & Lilith, niece; Cheryll Olson, CA, nephews; Terry Kay, MT, Wayne Janke, Merrill, Bob Janke, Marathon, daughter in law; Mary Wilke, Merrill, son in law; Brian Kleinschmidt, Merrill, brother in law; Don Kay, CA and other relatives.

Arlene is preceded in death by parents, husband, daughter; Devon Kleinschmidt, sister; Norma Janke.

Funeral Service for Arlene will be 10 AM on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Waid Funeral Home.  Rev. Donald Love will be officiating.  Visitation will be from 9AM to 10 AM on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Waid Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Scott Cemetery at a later date.  Waid Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Merrill is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be made at www.waidfuneral.com
