Pearl Hofmann, 93, Merrill, died Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at Good Samaritan Health Center.
She was born February 29, 1916 to the late
Joseph and Anna (Sundeen) Alft. Pearl married Leonard Hofmann June 10,
1944 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Merrill.
Pearl was a home maker who enjoyed sewing and knitting. She was also a family historian and an avid Brewers fan. Pearl was a member of St.
Francis Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Leonard, son, Joe (Debra) Hofmann, all
of Merrill and her granddaughter, Miranda Hofmann (Trent Mendez), of
Madison
. She was preceded in death by her brother, Alvin Alft.
Services will be held Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 1:30 PM at Waid
Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the time of
service, also at the funeral home. The Rev. James Horath will
officiate. Burial will follow at St. Francis
Cemetery.
