Dina Jesperson

Dina E. Jesperson, age 88 of Merrill died, Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Pine Crest Nursing Home, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
Dina was born November 5, 1920, in Fox Lake, WI the daughter of the late Samuel and Alida (VanDerwal) Westra.
Dina and Paul Jesperson were united in marriage August 19, 1939 in Dubuque, Iowa. He preceded her in death May 7, 1990.
Dina was a home maker, she truly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was also involved with her church and many activities there. Dina also enjoyed gardening and working in the yard.
She is survived by 2 sons: Carl Jesperson of Madison,
and James (Flori) of Merrill,
Grandchildren: Jason, Michelle, Leeann, Lyndsey, Nicole, James, Heidi, Paul, David and Deanna.
8 great grandchildren,
Brothers: Willard and Richard Westra,
Preceding her in death besides her parents and husband Paul, were her son Bill, 2 brothers John and Henry and 2 sisters Josephine and Clara.
Funeral services will be held 6 pm Friday, July 31, at First Presbyterian Church, The Rev. Don King will officiate. Visitation will be 4pm until the time of service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
Burial will take place at a later date at Memorial Gardens in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
