Dennis J. Hess, age 50 of Merrill, died Friday, March 9, 2012 at his residence. Dennis was born November 12, 1961 in Tomahawk, the son of Dennison and Dorothy (Spletter) Hess. Dennis graduated from Tomahawk High School. Surviving are: Daughter: Sarah Hess, Medford, Son: Cody Hess, Merrill, Mother: Dorothy Luedtke, Tomahawk, Sisters: Deb Smith, Wausau, Diane Bousman, Evansville, IN, Darlene Brodbeck, Madison, CT, Brother: Darold Hess, Tomahawk, Many nieces, nephews and friends also survive. Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Dennison D. Hess, and sister, Donna Hess. Memorial Service will be held 2 pm, Saturday, March 17, at Waid Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1pm until the time of service at the funeral home. Rev. Bob Smallman will officiate. Waid Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
