Hospice Appreciation Luncheon

VFW Honor Guard Luncheon
Waid Funeral Home will be hosting an honorary luncheon for the members of our local VFW Post #1638 Honor Guard. We would like to thank you for the wonderful service you provide for our local veterans. The luncheon will be held 12:00 PM March 6, 2012 at Waid Fuenral Home. Spring Memory Bear Workshop
Join us Friday, April 13th from 4-8 pm and again Saturday, April 14th from 9-1 pm for our semi annual Memory Bear Workshop. Due to the extreme popularity of these workshops, we will be limiting the amount of Memory Bears to two per person attending. This is a wonderful time of healing as together we create a meaningful keepsake for you to cherish for years to come. Just bring a clean article of clothing, some fiber fill and any patches or buttons you would like to personalize your bear. No sewing experience is needed. Our helpful staff members will assist you in designing and cutting out your bear. Then our wonderful volunteers will sew it together for you!
